Team Duckworth produced solid results in the second leg of the Oregon Tuna Classic in Ilwaco, Washington on August 6th, and donated their 5 largest tuna to the impressive pile of more than 5300 pounds headed for local food banks.

While not in the money, the Duckworth team boated 24 tuna pre-fishing the day prior and 16 more on tournament day.

“It was a great weekend in Ilwaco where fishermen were pleasantly surprised to find calm seas,” said OTC Chairman, Del Stevens. “Saturday morning 53 teams showed up at roll call and had the pleasure of running two days back to back on a nice ocean. The bite was sketchy at times and the size of the fish really varied. One moment you would be landing peanuts and the next it was pigs.”
