Company HistoryIt all began in the Clarkston, Washington, shop of legendary boatbuilder Ernie Duckworth in the late 1960’s as he began building a couple of rugged welded aluminum jet boats for running the demanding whitewater of the nearby Snake River Hells Canyon. His rugged designs soon caught the eye of fellow boaters, and the "Duckworth" brand was soon developing its legendary loyal following. Today, Duckworth Boat Works, Inc. ("DBW") manufactures and distributes through independent marine dealers "Duckworth" brand welded aluminum fishing, sport and commercial boats. Duckworth boats include a complete line of 18-30 foot inboard jet, outboard, sterndrive and specialty watercraft for shallow-draft river running and deep-V bluewater use, with a full range of fit and finish options. Over 4,000 Duckworth brand boats have been produced during the last 40 years, providing owners the ultimate in performance, versatility, comfort and appeal. DBW offers repair and refurbishment to restore old and damaged Duckworths to almost new factory condition. |
